1. Introduction

BotX AI Technologies Private Limited is committed to responsible environmental management and compliance with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016, including all amendments issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India.

As a producer of electronic and electrical equipment (EEE) including surveillance systems, biometric devices, home automation solutions, and IT hardware, BotX AI ensures that all end-of-life products are managed in an environmentally sound manner through authorized channels.


2. Objective of the E-Waste Management Program

The objectives of this program are to:

  • Ensure safe collection, channelization, recycling, and disposal of e-waste

  • Prevent environmental pollution and health hazards

  • Comply with CPCB/SPCB regulations

  • Promote awareness regarding responsible e-waste handling

  • Support the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework


3. Scope

This program applies to:

  • All electronic products manufactured, sold, or serviced by BotX AI Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

  • E-waste generated from offices, warehouses, service centers, and customers

  • All employees, channel partners, distributors, and end users


4. Definition of E-Waste

E-waste refers to electrical and electronic equipment that has reached the end of its useful life, including:

  • CCTV cameras and accessories

  • Biometric attendance and access control devices

  • Network equipment and IT peripherals

  • Home automation electronic components

  • Power adapters, cables, and storage devices


5. Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Compliance

BotX AI Technologies Private Limited fulfills its Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations by:

  • Ensuring collection of end-of-life products

  • Channelizing collected e-waste exclusively to CPCB-authorized recyclers

  • Maintaining records of e-waste generation and disposal

  • Supporting recycling targets as prescribed by CPCB


6. E-Waste Collection Mechanism

6.1 Customer & Consumer Collection

Customers are advised not to dispose of electronic products in municipal waste streams. End-of-life products may be:

  • Returned through designated take-back mechanisms

  • Handed over to authorized collection partners

  • Disposed of through BotX AI–approved recyclers

6.2 Internal Collection

E-waste generated at BotX AI facilities is:

  • Segregated from other waste streams

  • Stored in designated areas

  • Disposed of only through authorized recyclers


7. Authorized Recycler Engagement

BotX AI Technologies Private Limited ensures that all e-waste is processed only by CPCB/SPCB authorized recyclers possessing valid authorization certificates.

Recycler details shall be made available upon request or published as per regulatory requirement.


8. Safe Handling & Data Security

  • E-waste is stored in a secure manner to prevent leakage of hazardous substances

  • All data-bearing devices undergo secure data destruction prior to recycling

  • No informal dismantling or unsafe handling is permitted


9. Prohibition of Improper Disposal

The following practices are strictly prohibited:

  • Disposal of e-waste in household or municipal bins

  • Open burning or informal dismantling

  • Sale of e-waste to unauthorized scrap dealers


10. Consumer Awareness

In compliance with CPCB guidelines, BotX AI Technologies promotes awareness regarding:

  • Hazards of improper e-waste disposal

  • Importance of recycling electronic products

  • Availability of authorized collection and recycling channels


11. Legal Compliance

BotX AI Technologies Private Limited complies with:

  • E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016

  • Amendments issued by MoEFCC

  • CPCB and SPCB directives

  • Applicable environmental protection laws


12. Records & Documentation

The company maintains:

  • E-waste generation and disposal records

  • Recycler authorization certificates

  • Channelization and recycling documentation

  • Audit-ready compliance records as required by CPCB/SPCB
